The Lord is risen! He is risen indeed!
A happy and blessed Easter season to all.

Now that we have celebrated Easter Sunday and experienced the new life that Christ’s
resurrection brings, we look forward to the coming of spring and the renewal of life in nature as
well. Spring also brings thoughts of spring cleaning and the freshening up of our homes, yards,
gardens, and yes—our church, both the building and the people.

Over the past year, the Dream Team has been dreaming, planning, and prioritizing all the
possibilities and ideas we have heard concerning what we might do as a church to renew
ourselves and refresh our church building. Many of the maintenance projects and a few special
projects have already been accomplished since last spring when the Dream Team was first
formed. It’s now time to begin moving into the future.   On April 27th, there will be a special
presentation during worship to unveil Phase I of the dream. This is but a first step towards
making the dream a reality.    Mark your calendar also for April 20th when we dedicate our
beautiful new lectern and church doors.

Part of the dream for the future is that we fulfill our vision of being a welcoming and inviting place
of worship and community in Christ. To that end, the Session has formed a Hospitality and
Evangelism Committee. If you would like to be part of the committee or learn more about it, you
are welcome to join us on April 20 for a meeting after church.
